In less than 25 years, Memphis-based XMC, Inc. has become the second-largest Xerox dealer in the United States, surpassing dealers in larger markets like Chicago and Houston. Bob Hamilton, Founder and CEO, saw the potential of the company and the Xerox product line. His vision was to expand into multiple markets throughout the Southeast by offering an excellent customer service experience backed by competent technical support. He saw that XMC could surpass all competitors by providing the quality of service that matched the quality of Xerox equipment. XMC began with a single employee. Today, XMC has more than 80 staff members and serves the entire Mid-South. XMC serves most of Tennessee and extends to cover key markets in northern Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama. XMC has offices in Memphis, Nashville, Jackson, Savannah and Chattanooga, Tennessee; Little Rock and Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Florence and Huntsville, Alabama. XMC provides sales, leasing, service and supplies and is an authorized sales agent of Xerox. Xerox offers innovative document solutions, services and systems—including color and black-and-white printers, digital presses, multifunction devices and digital copiers. Xerox printing products are designed for offices and production-printing environments. In addition, Xerox has expanded its portfolio of document-related services and software designed to help companies and organizations boost worker productivity, enhance collaboration and reduce costs. XMC’s Electronic Document Management System allows staff to share documents at multiple levels, collaborate, review, approve and publish on the web, all with a user-friendly interface and multiple levels of security. XMC, Inc. has been named a 14 Star Top Performer with Xerox Corporation. This award is the top honor for Xerox sales agents and recognizes extraordinary performance and leadership. Only 3 out of 400 agencies have earned this 14-star ranking.
